Brooklyn Comes Alive

This weekend, Brooklyn Comes Alive (BCA) returns to Williamsburg, Brooklyn for its fourth year, and DC Music Review will be covering again . This one-of-a-kind event features world class talent at three of Brooklyn’s finest music venues all within several blocks of each other. 50+ musicians will jam in unique collaborations, super group sets, and tribute events at the Brooklyn Bowl, Music Hall of Williamsburg and Rough Trade. This festival has a small neighborhood feel but with large talent punch. Performances kick off at at 3:30pm and running through late night and beyond into the near sun-rise hours. For the first time BCA will have the jam band comedy of Wokes With Jokes and The Jam Cruise late night Jam Room.

Each ticket grants attendees in-and-out access to each of the three venues, creating an indoor music festival feeling all within the heart of Williamsburg.  This year at Brooklyn Comes Alive there will be three special tributes; a tribute to Prince; A tribute to Steely Dan; and one in honor of Col. Bruce Hampton, Butch Trucks, Gregg Allman, and the rest of “Those We’ve Lost…” recently.
