VÉRITÉ, (noun) French

Truth; truthfulness

Brooklyn based Kelsey Regina Byrne, who performs under the pseudonym of VÉRITÉ, is bringing her electro pop earworms to Strange Matter in Richmond, VA this Monday, October 1

Sticking true to her monicker, Byrne has captivated the Internet with her ability to pair her incredibly raw and relatable lyrics with catchy electronic hooks. The result is a hauntingly beautiful voice floating through words that cut straight to the core.

"Cause maybe I'm just addicted to
The things I lack and the way you move
In circles run, round a figure eight
Always running off meeting up in the same place"

-"Strange Enough" from VÉRITÉ's EP, Echo

The 28 year old's vulnerability has allowed her to reach heights previously unimaginable for an independent artist. Released just over a year ago, her debut EP Somewhere In Between has reached over 150 million streams on Spotify.

Missed your chance to hear her masterful cover of The 1975's "Somebody Else" when she opened for EDEN in Washington, D.C. this past Spring? Grab your tickets below and road trip down to Richmond this Monday to witness talent in its purest form—we recommend blasting her cover of Childish Gambino's "Sober" on the trip down.
