DCMR is excited to bring you the latest video by the electro soul powerhouse, novo. The song, "Wine Clouds" marks the second release from this DC-based band, comprised of Gena Photiadis (keys/vox), Matt Tredwell (drums), Nikhel Sus (guitar/vox), TJ Turqman (bass), and Tula Pisano (vox).

The video makes you feel like you're right there, sipping on something cool while sitting in on the recording session. And the song? Well, it's butter. The dreamy intro splays into an easy, funky, perfectly-paced groove, rising and rolling around with a hypnotic chorus.  Each instrument is thoughtfully played, intentional, loose, comfortable and perfectly balanced, with the vocal finessing of Tula Pisano that is agile and strong (think Minnie Riperton and Dakota Staton).

The name of the song perfectly fits the vibe. So watch it once now. Then pour yourself a glass of anything and look up into the sky and listen to it again. And enjoy.
