Tedeschi Trucks Band performs at The Warner Theatre in 2022

The Tedeschi Trucks Band's Warner Theatre Winter Residency is one of the most anticipated events of Washington DC's winter concert calendar.  This twelve-piece wall-of-sound band is more reliable than Punxsutawney Phil - we never know what the weather will be like in the late winter around the DMV, but we can always rely on Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi to bring their powerhouse band to Washington DC for a Warner Theatre run.

If you heard the thunderous roar emanating from the Warner Theatre this weekend, you know it was Tedeschi Trucks Band's[...]

Tedeschi Trucks is no stranger to the Warner Theatre and has been regularly performing here each winter since 2011.  In 2011 they performed a single show. Since then, this band has become a juggernaut and one of America's premier rock-and-roll big bands. With that unsurpassed power and momentum, their Warner Theatre performances have always evolved into an eagerly awaited residency which almost always sells out.  This year the band wiill perform a three night resdency taking place Tuesday, March 5th through Thursday, March 7th.  Last year TTB roared in like a friehgt train at The Warner Theatre and we look toward their 2024 residency with much anticipation as we step aboard the TTB express bound for glory and roaring performances.

Spotlight: I Am The Moon

I Am The Moon is an epic four-part album series.  This is an incredible undertaking and Tedeschi Trucks Band's most ambitious yet.  The band released four albums with four accompanying films - distinct and, at the same time, deeply connected.   In total, the band delivers 24 new songs inspired by classical literature - the themes and story of Layla and Majnun - reimagined through a modern lens and delivered with the power that only this twelve-piece wall of sound band can deliver.
