For months fans of Khruangbin have been eagerly awaiting the Houston trio's performance at The Anthem on March 11th. For those that hesitated, we are sad to announce that their Anthem performance is sold out.

Do not despair! If you are willing to wait a little longer and perhaps prefer warmer weather outdoor venues, the band just announced a second DMV appearance! Khruangbin will perform on May 4th, in Richmond, Virginia, at the Virginia Credit Union LIVE! Tickets will go on sale on February 2nd at 10 AM. That's tomorrow in the simplest most direct terms we know how to convey.  For music lovers in the DMV, we know that this news might be more exciting than any name that the Washington Football Team reveals on the same date.

New Khruangbin 2022 Tour Dates Added!

Additional Tour Dates have been announced for the 2022 Space Walk Tour

For those of you who do not know why we are so excited for our second chance to see Khruangbin in the DMV, let us introduce you to this Houston trio! This Texas trio is known for their marriage of sounds from across the world - including reggae dub, surf-rock, Southeast Asian funk, and Middle Eastern soul.  By the summer of 2019,  bassist Laura Lee, guitarist Mark Speer, drummer DJ Johnson—had been on tour for nearly three-and-a-half years, playing to audiences across North and South America, Europe, and southeast Asia behind its acclaimed albums The Universe Smiles Upon You and Con Todo El Mundo.

Khruangbin and Leon Bridges will release their collaborative EP, Texas Moon on February 18th.  This release is an extension of the collaboration's chart-topping four-song Texas Sun.  Texas Moon is an introspective stroll through the dark. Listen to their recent single "Chocolate Hills" which embraces spacey sensuality as Bridges' honeyed tones ooze into the melody.

For those fans who have already purchased tickets to The Anthem's performance - we are both happy and jealous. For fans that want to see them perform in Richmond, or twice in one tour, this is your opportunity to see them perform besides Richmond Speedway at Virginia Credit Union LIVE!

The Wood Brothers perform at the 9:30 Club on January 26, 2022
Concert Reviews

The Wood Brothers Brought Their Americana Warmth To The 9:30 Club

There is an expression in my family about warm and tender moments that would best describe an evening with The Wood Brothers and David Wax Museum at the 9:30 Club. "How was the evening at the 9:30 Club? - It was like warm bread." Then insert the visual of your grandmother placing each thumb to her forefinger in a way that can only express the utter joy and warmth of describing the evening.

On January 26th, The Wood Brothers and David Wax Museum basked in live music glory at the 9:30 Club to a near-capacity crowd as blissful Americana and Mexo-Americana would resonate through this beloved venue.

David Wax Museum performing at The 9:30 Club

The original supporting act, Steve Poltz, would not perform because he was still recovering from a recent bout with the Coronavirus. In his place, David Wax Museum received a last-minute call-up and headed straightaway for Washington, DC. The call-up was an easy, obvious, and exceptional choice. Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, David Wax Museum are an eclectic, exuberant, and captivating indie-folk band composed of husband-wife duo David Wax and Suz Slezak. For those who never saw David Wax Museum, this performance would leave a lasting impression that revealed a true hidden gem of the DVM. David Wax museum delighted the audience with some playful banter and a diverse setlist that included energetic Mexo-Americana and a self-described lovey-dovey song "If I Had the World to Give" by The Grateful Dead. Before leaving the stage, David Wax told the audience that they would build a "9:31 Club" in their backyard in Charlottesville, Virginia. We know many will journey south to see them perform in their hometown based on their performance.

The last time the 9:30 Club saw The Wood Brothers was a little over three years ago (January 18th, 2019). Although a lot has happened in those three years, including a new album Kingdom In My Mind and a drive-in appearance at The Frederick County Fairgrounds last summer, this evening's performance felt like a continuation of a family gathering held just a few days ago. Oliver Wood noted how much time had passed and told the audience how much the band truly loved the 9:30 Club and wondered why it took them so long to return. Based on the crowd's response, it was apparent that fans in Washington DC love The Wood Brothers just as much as the band loves us. Oliver Wood would talk about being delighted that a passionate crowd nearly filled the venue for a random mid-week show. In addition, the audience delighted in hearing songs off their latest album performed live including, "Alabaster," "Cry Over Nothing," "Don't Think About My Death," "Little Bit Sweet," and "Little Blue."

Oliver Wood of The Wood Brothers performs at the 9:30 Club

For nearly two hours, the venue basked in the music of The Wood Brothers as we gleefully danced and swayed to the full breadth of their songs. Chris Wood was especially animated as he danced with glee beside his double bass as if no one was watching - in fact, we were all watching and took delight at the joy spilling over on the stage. Oliver Wood's distinct guitar and a chocolate-tongued voice echoed brightly through the venue. Finally, we must not forget Jano Rix, the multi-instrumental percussionist who brings his unique talents to the band. It is always a great delight when Rix steps out from his drum kit to perform on his melodica and shuitar or joins the band as they sing together in front of their vintage microphone. The Wood Brothers' told us that not only tell us that it was alright to be a "Little Bit Broken," how we miss those "Lovin' Arms" but also how we can aspire to be a bit happier like "Happiness Jones."

The Wood Brothers perform at the 9:30 Club

We sincerely hope not to wait another three years to see The Wood Brothers at the 9:30 Club. We have confidence that the memories of tonight's incredible performance will bring them back again soon. Lastly, we promise that if they bring their joyous music and "warm bread" feelings, the venue will provide more of the cherished cupcakes that Oliver Wood spoke so affectionately of.

Scott Metzger Coming to City Winery DC In Support Of His Debut Album

Guitarist Scott Metzger spent the past decade earning a reputation as one of the most adventurous improvisers in live music. When he wasn’t sharing the stage with the likes of Phil Lesh, John Scofield, Nels Cline, or Circles Around The Sun, he was playing to massive crowds with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (JRAD). Metzger recently announced his debut album, Too Close To Reason, coming on March 4. Metzger will support the album with a series of tour dates, including an April 1, 2022, performance at City Winery DC.

Scott Metzger - Too Close To Reason

Scott Metzger - Too Close To Reason - Out March 4, 2022

When the global pandemic darkened stages everywhere, Metzger hunkered down in Brooklyn and did what came naturally—he picked up the guitar every day and wrote instrumental music. Shortly after that, he booked time at Brooklyn recording studio, Restoration Sound, to document the guitar pieces he'd created. The result of those efforts is Too Close to Reason—Metzger's first solo album in what's already a distinguished 20-plus year career. The 12-track collection showcases a more introspective side of his musical personality. From the first swelling notes of the atmospheric "Appropriate Wattage," it's full of musical surprises, starting with the fact that Metzger plays nearly every note of this primarily acoustic guitar-based album. The sole exception is "Only Child," a ballad with Katie Jacoby, violinist for The Who (and Metzger's fiancée).

Too Close To Reason exposes trace elements of Metzger's musical DNA through influences like Chet Atkins, Django Reinhardt, Jim Hall, and Richard Thompson. Still, it ultimately presents his own fully-formed and distinct voice as a guitarist. The through-line of Too Close To Reason is found in Scott Metzger's ability to manage conflicting tensions. He's introspective without being self-indulgent and welcoming without being a crowd-pleaser. In short, his debut reveals an artist in full bloom who has honed his craft and knows himself, contradictions and all.

This performance is an opportunity to see Metzger in a small setting where he can show off his incredible new album. As much as we love seeing Metzger perform to large crowds performing along JRAD, we are truly looking forward to watching this gifted guitarist perform with an acoustic guitar by his side to a small audience.

Blues Prodigy Christone “Kingfish” Ingram Coming To Capital One Hall on April 2

When legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy take the stage at Capital One Hall on April 2, 2022, he brings with him a blues prodigy Christone "Kingfish" Ingram.  Just as Buddy Guy was one of the defining blues voices of his generation, Kingfish has quickly become the defining blues voice of his.

Christone "Kingfish" Ingram - 662

Christone "Kingfish" Ingram - 662

Ingram first caught the attention of blues lovers on the national scene in 2019 when Kingfish was released. In the two years since Kingfish was released, there have been major events that have altered his life both personally and professionally. “There has been much change, happiness and despair in my life,” Ingram says of his last two years. Right as his career was taking off, he lost his mother and biggest champion, the late Princess Pride Ingram. Christone toured for 13 months non-stop, until the pandemic halted live performances and forced him to take stock. As he was thinking about the man he was becoming and the new directions his life was taking, he began writing songs for his next album, 662. The number 662 is the telephone area code for Ingram’s northern Mississippi home, and it first came into use the same year he was born—1999.

Christone "Kingfish" Ingram - 662

Christone "Kingfish" Ingram - 662

Ingram's appearance is part of his 2022 tour in support of his Grammy nominated and  critically acclaimed album 662, appropriately entitled Christone "Kingfish" Ingram Presents 662: Juke Joint Live.  Ingram says of the tour, “I’m very excited to continue my ‘662 Juke Joint Live’ tour and to partner with Outback Presents to reach current and new fans in larger, more iconic music venues across the country. Just like a Mississippi juke joint, these shows will be high-energy, jumping, and lots of fun.”

Upon its July 2021 release, 662 debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and it's remained on the chart ever since. NPR's Morning Edition ran a 7-minute feature on release day. Tastemaker UK magazine MOJO recently named it #1 Blues Album of 2021 and called it  "an exceptional album" filled with "astonishing creativity." Influential website Under The Radar said, "Kingfish is one of the torchbearers for the blues, with his bellowing voice and shrieking, nimble solos."

Here is what others have said about Ingram.

PBS Newshour

“Christone "Kingfish" Ingram represents the next generation of great American blues artists.”

- PBS Newshour

NPR Music

“Ingram plays guitar with dramatic, searing tone and sure-handed authority. And that's just in the studio; he's even scarier live.”

- NPR Music

Simply put, if you love the blues, this is a show you want to go see in person.  You will be entranced and moved by Ingram's performance as he dazzles you with his genuine Mississippi-delta blues. Please listen to his music below as well as links to purchase tickets to this unforgettable night of blues at Capital One Hall.

The Wooks Are Flyin’ High On Their Way To Pearl Street Warehouse

The Wooks - Flyin' High

Flyn' High - Available February 25

On February 25th, 2022, The Wooks release their third album - Flyn' High, and in support of this new album, band sets out on a 27 stop tour.  Lucky for residents of the DMV, six performances take place in the DMV.  Bluegrass and Americana fans of DC are even luckier as The Wooks have decided to have an album release party on Thursday, March 17th, at Pearl Street Warehouse.

The Wooks - Flyin' High

When listening to Flyn' High's title track, we hear the story of Jim Bob Meade, a switchman for the C&O train. So we suppose there is no better way to celebrate this character than to have The Wooks pull into Pearl Street Warehouse and celebrate an album release party just a few miles away from where the C&O train used to pull into Union Station.

Rather than repeating the formal studio experiences for past albums, The Wooks—CJ Cain on guitar and vocals, Harry Clark on mandolin and vocals, George Guthrie on banjo and vocals, and Allen Cooke on Dobro—recorded Flyin' High over two sessions in Nashville in the home studio of bluegrass guitarist Jake Stargel. Cain recalls. "This album has a lot of solos and vocals and all kinds of stuff that's just the raw take. There's no click track. We were trying to get a sound like Bela Fleck's Drive album or Tony Rice's work at Arch Studios with Bill Wolf. That live feeling. So much of bluegrass these days is almost autotuned and fixed to the point of perfection. We were trying to run away from that quickly as possible."

The Wooks - Flyin' High Spring Tour

Click for a full-size image.

Cooke speaks for the band when he says he's eager for fans to discover these new songs—on the album as well as the stage. "This band is definitely not a band that is set on keeping things to the way they sounded on the record," he says. "We're all about keeping these songs fresh and new-sounding as shows go on.

Inspired by the traditional and the unconventional, The Wooks have established a distinctive sound through original songwriting, exceptional musicianship, and outside influences ranging from jam bands to Southern rock. All four members of The Wooks have forged a common bond that honors their individuality and allows for  innovation. Fans will tell this from listening to their music catalog and by especially seeing them perform live.

The Wooks' Spring 2022 Tour kicks off on February 24th in Louisville, KY, and by the time they hit the stage on March 17th for the album release party, we have no doubt that these new songs will blossom, mature, and enthrall fans.

For fans who cannot make it out to Pearl Street Warehouse, we highly recommend going to the band's website to purchase a ticket for one of the other five DMV performances.

The Infmaous Stringdusters - Toward The Fray
Album Review, Interviews

Running Toward The Fray With Andy Falco Of The Infamous Stringdusters

The Infamous Stringdusters are back with a new album, Toward the Fray on February 18th. We are so excited to hear from these guys again as we anxiously await their return to DC. I had a chance to listen to the new album and a bonus of talking with songwriter and guitarist Andy Falco again, who took some time to reflect and share on what it took to put this all together.

Ironically enough, it was actually just this past weekend, sitting at brunch with a group of likeminded, live-music loving folks, planning what shows and on whose winter tour we plan on seeing, that we touched on how excited we all are for the return of Stringdusters at my personal favorite venue in the DC area.

“Was it 2018 or 2019 that we saw them at 9:30 Club?”

“It was definitely 2019 – the Rising Sun release show - that was epic!”

“Two nights at The Anthem with Greensky?! Man, what a way to come back – this is gonna be amazing!”

My how times have changed. It’s been far too long, in my opinion, but we all know the reasoning of why. Now with the new album release and two nights at The Anthem on the horizon, we have something to get excited about again from the grammy award winning band.

Writing and recording a full-length album during the past two years with all the obstacles that everyone has had to overcome and hiccups in the normalcy we all miss, is no small feat. Being spread out miles and miles apart is different. Using Zoom meetings to brainstorm, share lyrics and give each other feedback is new to everyone. Luckily these guys had a few warm ups prior to the forthcoming release including a Bill Monroe tribute and a Christmas album. Coming together (in whatever form they were able to) and produce music that is so expressive and heartfelt however, is not something that a lot of bands, or even individual musicians were able to accomplish over the past twenty-four months, so cheers to you fellas.

Says Falco, “Yeah, that's it, it was a challenging thing. And you know, we started off with it, because we live we do live in different parts of the country. The process was a little bit different. We didn't do really any pre-production that we would normally do over the course of many months.”

“It was a different way of making a record, but It was actually kind of cool and it had its own merit to sort of come in together in Denver in September of 2020 - that was first time since March that we'd been together. With that goal in mind, we did one or two days where now we had the songs of the demos that we had shared, so everybody had heard them and we just immediately started playing through them.

In a way, it was kind of nice to not overthink arrangements and just kind of find that initial spark of the songs.  And then we went right in and cut the songs and there was something to that, I think, that was really unique to this project. So that's how we had to do it, but we did it together and then we tracked everything in a week's time. Then we all went home and that was that.”

The newest album reminds me why I love this band so much and why I’m so excited to see them live onstage again. Just like when we see a live Dusters performance, the album follows suit and jumps right into it on Toward the Fray, firing everyone up on the first track.

"Hard Line" - Toward the Fray's first track.

After that, a bit of a change comes. The Stringdusters seem to embody a bit of a different sound than what they normally are known for and dive deep into a plethora of storytelling, remembering and sharing emotional journeys that we, as listeners, also share more than on prior albums. Connection to what we have collectively experienced over this last bit of time is one of the biggest strengths of the album and what I believe most listeners will come to recognize and love about it.

A great example of what I just mentioned is “I Didn't Know”, which personally took a bit of stamina to listen to – with the civil unrest, global pandemic and inability to connect with people the way we were so used to doing – this song hits a chord that somewhat made me fight back tears. “Is history holding us in place? ” “I didn’t know that we were headed for our darkest days” arguably this song could be about many a different topics – heartbreak, the Black Lives Matter Movement or pandemic and quarantine, but no matter what the context – the feeling that it invokes is undeniable.

Not all bad things came out of the slow down that was forced upon us back in March of 2020 and that is one thing Andy and I agree on almost to a fault.

Being a band that has talent enough to brag all members are indeed strong enough to contribute their own writing to the album allows the voices from within to be expressed, varied and most importantly heard by an audience that can’t deny relating to some lyrics or another.

“In this case, everybody was writing a lot, which was good. There was a lot of songs because everybody had time and a lot to write about, frankly, in 2020 and so we all kind of made our demos, you know, at home and everybody sort of contributed what they thought would be good for the band.”

The Infmaous Stringdusters - Toward the Fray

I felt like, at first, when I saw the artwork, it was just a little, it was a little much for me, honestly, but now, it's really grown on me and there were a couple iterations, a couple of adjustments that we made - but it's pretty close to what the original art was.

Andy Falco  //  On Toward the Fray's album artwork.

Being separated from people that you share very little space with for extended periods of time is different. The ability to and high of performing together in front of crowds in different cities night after night is therapeutic and a creative outlet for musicians. When that is taken away, there is a huge void to fill. Falco used the time to write – daily - and was able to sometimes write multiple songs a day.

“For me personally, I’ve never really done that, and it was great because it allowed me, as a writer, the opportunity to really just look inside and figure out why you're writing the song and what you're really trying to say and if it’s important and worthy of the message? A lot of people did that, whether they're songwriters or not – they, sort of, reevaluated what they were doing and why they were doing it.”

“It was a creative outlet because a big part of our normal creative outlet is being out on the road and doing shows. When that was removed, I think that that creative energy had to go somewhere and it ended up going into the songwriting and into the studio. We all did a lot of solo projects too. I pretty much wrote and recorded my whole solo album during that time as well.”

The album cover itself expresses so much without a single voice heard or word said. Selecting what the album wants to represent and being able to convey it visually seemed like it should have been a very difficult task, however the band and album cover artist Mike Tallman of Add Noise Studios, seem to have hit the mark with a big fat bullseye.

“I felt like, at first, when I saw the artwork, it was just a little, it was a little much for me, honestly, but now, it's really grown on me and there were a couple iterations, a couple of adjustments that we made -but it's pretty close to what the original art was.”

Many of us who don’t have children, may have neglected to imagine the crazy times and world that young people are growing up in right now from their point of view. The innocence of the girl on the cover holding a teddy bear compared to the scary reality of also wearing a gas mask and standing in front of a charred backdrop of a small city scape, is unexpectedly jarring and makes one reflect on the past two years of crazy life on this planet and all that we’ve gone through.

Let's give the girl a back story - the teddy bear, the scene - is she the one that burned down the town? "You know, it's funny - that little girl (on the cover) to me is just such a badass," says Falco.  "She reminds me of my daughter, who is nine and had to do all of second grade remotely, not being able to play with friends or any of that, but she's just been so tough and resilient through it all.  She's had such a great attitude and I really admire her strength.  When I think of that girl on the album cover, I think of her.  There's a video that's coming out for that song and it's gonna have that character in it, which is cool."

The ability of music to be a voice for people and a sign of the times has always been a necessity. I think that throughout Toward the Fray, we hear the voices that bring a lot of the issues that shouldn’t fade away with mask mandates and Covid talk, become lyrics that we will continue to repeat and hold near because we remember what we have collectively gone through and what we need to do to not have them continue to be this way.

Listening to this newest album from this award winning group is one that needs to be done to from beginning to end several times over. The first time, I listened for the vibe of the album as a whole, the second time through, I tuned in for the lyrics and the third time I heard the songs, is when I was able to figure out what the album made me feel myself. When you can do all three and each time it becomes a whole new story, that is truly something that should be recognized as nothing other than pure talent and extraordinary musicianship.

“Toward the Fray” the title track to the album is the shortest song of length on the album, but certainly packs the most punch in my opinion. To say "Toward the Fray" is a powerful thought in and of itself, but adding in the sentiment behind it, and it takes to a whole nother level. Closing out the song with “there is no other way to love except to turn our tinted souls Toward the Fray” as the music in the back fades, is enough to give you chills.

"Toward the Fray" - Toward the Fray's title track.

Another song of note is “Revolution” which happens to be one of the favorites of mine from the new album.  A strong banjo intro makes me pine for the days when I’ll be dancing live to this feel good band and sharing smiles that so familiar, have been missed so so dearly.  When we can all gather again and celebrate what we have in common - our love and appreciation for live music, new music and bands like this one.

I'd like to thank Andy for taking the time to talk to me about the project before setting off to be back on the road again and hope we all get to share space again very soon!

We are all looking forward to an exceptional weekend of music with Andy and The Infamous Stringdusters as they rock The Anthem with some exceptional music on February 4th and 5th! Ticket Information can be found below.

Sam Weber Is Coming To Pie Shop In Support of His Latest Album

Sam Weber is performing at the Pie Shop in Washington DC, supporting his latest album, Get Free, on March 17th, 2022.  Sam Weber fans will be relieved to hear that his internal reckoning about quitting everything a starting fresh didn’t end up taking root. Instead, he took those emotions and placed them into his upcoming album, which will be released on February 4th, 2022.

On the other hand, Weber has turned his daydreams into one hell of a song — “Get Out of the Game.” Glide Magazine commented, “With his old-soul voice, Weber delivers a heartfelt morsel of indie-folk that brings to mind the poppier 70s folk of artists like Emitt Rhodes. He also plays with a melange of instrumental textures and tempos to give the song a truly eclectic and intriguing sound, and the home video footage makes this song feel extra personal as Weber reflects on the changes and passions that come in the artistic journey.”

Delivering a vocal somewhere between Paul Simon and Van Morrison with a timbre all his own, Weber sings a refrain of “Somewhere down the line we made a promise that no pain or money would change anything” amongst a journey through vibrant, road-trip verses. The tunes sound as if a New Orleans second-line parade somehow wound up around a campfire on a locals-only surf beach, helped along by drummer Danny Austin-Manning and guest percussionist Dawes’ Griffin Goldsmith. In an instant, “Get Out of the Game” transfigures into a spacey interlude with enough legs to keep even the most grizzled deadhead second-set grooving before launching back into the song’s final verses.

Fans can hear pre-order or pre-save Get Free ahead of its February 4th release right here.  Please enjoy a sampling of Weber's work below as well as information about his upcoming performance at Pie Shop.

Marco Benevento And His Fantastical Music Is Coming To Union Stage on February 26

On February 26th, Marco Benevento is poised to set the DC Wharf ablaze with his infections dance party music. Benevento will perform at Union Stage, just a few doors down from Pearl Street Warehouse, where he held the album release party for his 2019 album Let It Slide.  If history repeats itself, the upcoming performance at Union Stage should be another unforgettable night of infectious and joyous dancing for everyone in the audience.

For seven studio albums and countless shows worldwide, this brilliant artist has amassed a devoted fanbase. Speaking of fanbases, you may recognize Benevento holding down the keys for Joe Russo's Almost Dead, one of the countries most energetic and charismatic Grateful Dead-inspired bands.

As brilliantly as Benevento performs with JRAD, his solo work is where his pure musical genius shines. His music covers a wide swath of ground, seemingly connecting the dots in the vast space between LCD Soundsystem and Leon Russell.  His songwriting is intelligent and grounded, yet simultaneously pulsating with dance rock energy. Benevento's high-energy live shows are composed of a three-piece band of Benevento on keys, Karina Rykman on bass, and drummer Dave Butler.  One cannot help but dance along to this trio, especially as Rykman infectiously smiles from ear to ear and dances about the stage playing mesmerizing bass lines.

On his latest single, "At The End Or The Beginning," Benevento dives deep down a psych-funk rabbit hole. Within this rabbit hole, he captures the current Zeitgeist with lyrics like "We can walk and keep our distance, The whole world changed in an instant." This song creates a euphoric trance state where listeners can reimagine these troubled times through surrealistic optimism and the pure joy of an irresistible groove.

We invite you to listen to more of Benevento's music below. If you want our first person account of what to expect, please read our review of his 2019 Pearl Street Performance.  If you want to grin ear to ear like a Cheshire Cat, we suggest you join this Mad Hatter and take a visit down the rabbit hole on February 26th at Union Stage.

And just like that, Macro Benevento has just released another new single - "Winter Rose." This song has Karina Rykman bounce-ability written all over it!

Lucky Chops Are Bringing Their Brass-Tastic Energy To Union Stage

Lucky Chops is set to take the stage at Union Stage on January 28, 2022. Although the lineup has changed slightly since this band was last seen in Washington DC, their energy and stage presence has not.  Lucky Chops has been unleashing high-energy brassy funk on the world since forming in NYC in 2006. The intensity of the band's energy is fueled by their desire to share the power of brass-powered funk music with others. As a result, their performances have resonated with audiences around the globe, giving the band hundreds of millions of views on their online videos and leading to live performances in more than twenty-five countries.

Like many artists around the globe, the last two years have not been easy on Lucky Chops. They settled back into their groove, filling the subway platforms of New York City's biggest stations. Their energetic music has once again echoed through these large performance spaces and brings joy to many fans. These same performance spaces brought them viral fame and launched their career (YouTube 'Lucky Chop Subway NYC')

These same spaces have served as the best practice space as they noew ready for a limited two-week East Coast tour. Lucky Chop celebrates their tour by bringing a special guest - Moon Hooch's Michael Wilbur, on bass saxophone. Wilbur temporarily replaces baritone saxophonist Adrian Condis, but provides Moon Hooch and Lucky Chops fans the opportunity to see this dynamic brass fusion.

To see Lucky Chops perform live is a truly energetic and brass-powered funk experience, and we are truly delighted to see them come back to Washington DC on January 28th.  Find more details on their performance below as well as a full catalogue of their music.
